This shows how the walls at Sacsayhuaman were built in a zig-zag shape. It is thought that the city of Cusco was built in the shape of a puma (when viewed from above), and that these walls are the teeth of the puma.

Qenko means "zig-zag", and this shrine received its name from these carved channels that were perhaps used for fortune-telling (water or other liquids were poured through the channels and fortunes were told based on the paths that were taken).
